AlertPay - Using Credit Cards

We use AlertPay. It affords you more protection than any other payment service and it is regulated as a bank (PayPal is not regulated) and it abides by the privacy laws of Canada (PayPal does what they want with your financial records and answers to no one.) and AlertPay is cheaper… When eBay bought PayPal they removed ALL seller protection for any transaction not sold through eBay.
However, the most protection you have is me. I have been here for 6 years. Our business is based on long term relationships. Something we only get by making sure all of our 3000 plus customers are happy…

3. Reply to the activation email
4. Then add your credit card by going to
5. Profile > Financial > Credit Cards
6. Get Verified if requested
Verification Process
AlertPay is a Canadian Registered Corporation and a United States Registered Corporation that complies with the regulations of the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions in Canada (OSFI), the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
To maintain compliance with these governmental organizations, we are required to get to know you better, and verification makes this possible.
Personal Starter or Pro account can still add, withdraw and transfer a limited amount of funds, but you must get verified when it is requested of you.
Business accounts must get verified to deposit, withdraw and send money.
Please note that various criteria, including transaction history, are used to determine which accounts must become verified. Account verification ensures the security of your account and our network. If you would like to become verified, simply follow these 6 steps:
1. Login to your AlertPay account
2. Click on “Become AlertPay Verified”
3. Click on “Upload Now”
4. Select a document type
AlertPay requires a copy of 1 proof of address and 1 photo identification for verification. Please ensure that all four edges of the documents are visible.
5. Select a form type
Photo identification
Can be one of the following:
- Driver's license
- Passport
- State ID, Country ID or Photo Medical ID
Please submit the back of the identification if the expiration date is located on the back.
Proof of address
Must show your name and address and be dated within the last 6 months. You can submit one of the following:
- Utility Bill
- Phone bill
- Credit card statement
- Bank Statement
6. Upload scanned document
7. Repeat steps 2 to 6 for the next document
Verification Time
If you upload your documents, AlertPay will process them and provide a decision within 10 days of their receipt.
If you are mailing your documents from outside North America, AlertPay will process your documents upon receipt. The processing time once we receive the documents is up to 10 business days.
Your documents will be reviewed and the information contained in your documents must match the information on your AlertPay profile in order for them to be approved.
You can view the status of your documents once you log into your account.
